Key responsibilities

 Provide Orientation

  • Help the Managers to build their CI Strategy
  • Identify areas of improvements & build business cases
  • Coordinate the execution of the overall RMW CI plan
  • Prepare and facilitate CI Steering Committee (regional and plant level)
  • Complete the CI reporting to Regional and Group level
  • Manage/execute the Assessment Plan in the region

Set an example

  • Provide expertise and support to managers & teams(train, coach, review)
  • Facilitate CI Workshops regional and plant: learning by doing
  • Develop skills & autonomy of Local CI managers

Encourage Initiative

  • Develop, manage and share a set of standards, templates, framework, tools
  • Share good practises in the Region & Cross Region
  • Organize benchmarks and reference visits
  • Manage Regional CI network
  • Participate actively to the Group CI network

Appreciative communication

  • Manage a CI communication plan in the Region
  • Organize all CI administrative activities (newsletter, best practice, ..)
  • Manage change effectively
  • Celebrate success

Industrial Performance

    • Process standards implementation and monitoring across plants
    • Special projects agreed on Group/regional Level to meet business needs

Required skills

Essential Skills, qualifications and experience

 

  • A diploma in an industrial or business discipline (preferred),
  • A clear and demonstrable track record of personal development in the workplace,
  • Significant experience (a minimum of 2 years) of operations at a continuous process plant, with tangible evidence of process improvement during this period,
  • Qualification in Lean Continuous Improvement (equivalent of Green Belt or Black Belt)
  • Supervisory management experience or a clear demonstration of supervisory potential,
  • Build stakeholder relationship & team player
  • A leadership and communication style that motivates and engages both individuals and teams,
  • Experience of involving employees in process improvement – workshops, development teams
  • Demonstrably significant skill enhancement tools that are preferably aligned with Six Sigma Techniques, and
  • A demonstrable pursuit of continuous improvement.
  • Good working knowledge of digital tools which support CI activities
  • Min 2-3 years at multi-national company
  • Familiarity with modern industry standards and knowledge of digital tools
  • Solid oral and written English skills
